Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Memphis Cookie Co., your satisfaction matters deeply to us. All our treats are made from scratch and baked to order with love.

Refunds:
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we do not offer refunds once an order has been fulfilled and delivered or picked up. However, if there is an issue with the quality of your order, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt at [email protected] with photos and a description of the issue. Cancellations:
Custom orders must be canceled at least 48 hours in advance to receive a full refund. Orders canceled with less than 48 hours' notice may be subject to a partial refund depending on how much prep has been done.

Food Allergy Disclaimer

While we take every precaution to prevent cross-contamination, our baked goods are prepared in a kitchen that may handle:
- Dairy, eggs, wheat, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, and gluten

We cannot guarantee any of our items are 100% allergen-free. Please contact us if you have specific dietary concerns or allergies prior to placing your order.

Risk Disclosures (Financial & Operational)

While we are a bakery and not a financial services provider, we value transparency in how we operate:

• Payments: All online and in-person payments are processed securely through reputable third-party providers (e.g. Square, PayPal, Cash App, or others). We do not store your credit card or payment details.
• Order Risk: Orders made online or via social media DMs are not confirmed until full payment is received. Production begins only after confirmation and payment in full.
• Business Risks: Supply chain delays or ingredient shortages may affect production or delivery times. We will notify customers promptly in such cases.

Regulatory Compliance

We are committed to operating in compliance with local, state, and federal business laws, including:

• Tennessee Food Safety Regulations
• Sales tax collection and reporting
• Local health department permits for cottage or commercial kitchen operations

Our business is registered and up-to-date on required licenses.

Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Statement:
Although Memphis Cookie Co. is not a financial institution, we reserve the right to report suspicious, large, or unusual payment activity to financial institutions or authorities to prevent misuse of our platform. We do not accept or process payments that appear fraudulent or intended to disguise the origin of funds. Orders will be flagged and orders that appear to be fraudulent or suspicious will not processed.

Sanctions Compliance:
We do not accept orders or conduct transactions with individuals, entities, or regions subject to U.S. economic sanctions or embargoes.

Content & Conduct Policy:
We strive to keep our platform safe and respectful for all customers. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone engaging in:

• Abusive, discriminatory, or harassing behavior
• Attempts to exploit or defraud our business
• Submission of offensive, misleading, or inappropriate custom order requests
