Finding My Way Back 🍪
Over the past few months, life has looked very different for me. I experienced one of the hardest losses I’ve ever faced – the passing of my mom. Taking time away wasn’t planned, but it was necessary. Grief has a way of slowing everything down, shifting priorities, and reminding you what truly matters.
During that time, I stepped back from the day-to-day operations of Memphis Cookie Co. to rest, reflect, and simply be. And while it was a season of deep pain, it was also a season of clarity.
A Business Built on Love 💛
If you’ve been part of this journey for a while, you know Memphis Cookie Co. was never just about cookies. It started in 2016 as a fundraiser to send my daughter on a mission trip—and it grew into something much bigger. It became a business rooted in love, community, and creating moments that feel like home.
And in many ways, that foundation is what’s carrying me forward now. Because even in grief, I’m reminded that what we’ve built together matters. Every order, every kind word, every shared memory, it all means more than you know.
Stepping Into a New Phase ✨
As I begin to move back into a space of working, things may look a little different…and that’s okay. This next phase is about intention. It’s about focusing on what brings joy, creating meaningful experiences, and continuing to serve you in a way that feels aligned and sustainable.
You’ll start to see more updates, more availability for orders, and new opportunities to connect whether through our baked goods, frozen cookie dough, or special offerings. I’m not rushing this process. I’m rebuilding with care, and I’m grateful to have you along for the journey.
